Detailed close-up of a person using a putty knife to apply white wood filler to the edge of a wooden panel. The grooves in the wood are already partially primed, and multiple filler spots can be seen along the length of the panel. The person's hand is prominently featured, pressing the tool firmly into the wood. The workspace background is softly blurred, giving context to a professional woodworking or furniture-making environment.

Bespoke Joinery Built on Craftsmanship

From traditional training and large-scale national projects to the bespoke work we focus on today, everything we make is built with care, accuracy and pride.

Woodwork has always been at the heart of PV Joinery. What began as helping out a local joiner grew into more than a decade spent learning the trade under the guidance of an exceptionally skilled craftsman. That grounding in traditional joinery, attention to detail and pride in workmanship led to the formation of the business.

As opportunities grew, PV Joinery expanded into commercial and residential projects across the UK. At its peak, the business employed up to 65 skilled team members, delivering complex joinery packages at scale while maintaining high standards of finish and consistency.

Experience at Scale

Working across the UK on both commercial and residential projects provided extensive experience in site coordination, bespoke manufacture and installation under demanding programmes.

Large refurbishment schemes, new-build developments and heritage projects required precision, adaptability and a deep understanding of how joinery integrates with wider construction works. That experience continues to shape how projects are planned and delivered today.

Back to Bespoke

Like many businesses, economic downturns brought challenges. Rather than compromise on standards or volume-led work, the decision was made to return to the foundations on which PV Joinery was built.

Today, the focus is firmly on bespoke joinery. This allows every project to receive the time, care and attention it deserves, with craftsmanship and longevity taking priority over speed or scale.

What We Do

We design, manufacture and install high-quality bespoke joinery for homes, heritage properties and tailored projects, including:

  • Timber doors – front doors, internal doors and bespoke designs

  • Staircases – traditional and contemporary timber staircases

  • Built-in furniture – wardrobes, cupboards and storage solutions

  • Kitchens & cabinetry – handmade units and fitted furniture

  • Architraves, skirting & mouldings – traditional and custom profiles

  • Heritage joinery – like-for-like replacements and conservation work

  • Bespoke timber features – one-off pieces designed to suit the space

  • Repair and refurbishment of existing timber joinery

Each project is tailored to the property, the brief and the level of detail required.

Our Approach

Our approach is straightforward and quality-led.

We begin with a detailed conversation and site visit, followed by careful design and specification. All joinery is manufactured with consistency, precision and attention to detail before being professionally installed with respect for the property and its surroundings.
